Such a relaxing boutique hotel to celebrate our anniversary! So much charm and character to indulge in. The common area outside of the rooms is gorgeous with dim lighting, lovely scented candles, and both nights that we stayed included live music. Just down the road we enjoyed several tours including Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, Fame Studios, WC Handy Home, Helen Keller Birthplace: Ivy Green, Frank Lloyd Wright-Rosenbaum House. These are just some of the highlights. Highly recommend spending time here!

The rooms are thoughtfully designed and beautifully furnished. Everything about this hotel is swanky and interesting. The bar and parlor are cleverly placed in the center of the small hotel, so you walk right through lively gatherings as you walk to and from your room. The bar is a fabulous place to meet friends for craft cocktails. We will be back!

My husband and I did a date night experience. We will definitely be back. Neither of us drink and we still enjoyed. Live entertainment was turned off by 9pm for quiet time. The room was so comfortable and clean. The bartender that checked us in was friendly and helpful. The whole place was amazing. I enjoyed the location as well. Coffee shop directly below with great coffee. Cannot wait to go back!

This place is just super unique and cool. The space has been around for 100+ years so not telling what it once was, but now it is a fancy boutique hotel. Allegedly it is one of the top boutique hotels in the state, and based on our experience - I would not argue. Big rooms. Incredible renovation with so much attention to design and detail. The layout is extremely interesting and unusual: all guest rooms are on 2nd floor and accessible via stairs only. NO WHEELCHAIRS!! The night we checked in, there was live music in the common area around the bar. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here for our wedding weekend and absolutely loved everything about it. The room was gorgeous and very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the local toiletry products smelled amazing, the bar area was great, and we loved Turbo Coffee downstairs (went about 4x in one day). The bar staff and the manager, Chris, were super accommodating and friendly, they even let us have about 20 people hang out in the lounge area to eat takeout pizza and drink at the bar when our original rehearsal dinner location fell through. Quick and easy walk to more downtown restaurants. Super cozy, aesthetic, and romantic stay, we can't wait to come back!

Excellent stay at Gunrunner! This is such a nice boutique hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Fantastic bar too! Restaurants are close by and walkable. This is our hotel from now on whenever we go to Florence.

It’s worth a trip to Florence/Muscle Shoals just to stay here. I can’t gush enough about the incredible design, history, style, comfort, and hospitality we experienced. We loved it and are so grateful to the folks who welcomed us (during an ice storm!) and made our stay totally memorable. We will be back!
